For this concept, we aimed to bring whiskey history to the forefront. Taking inspiration from the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, we wanted to create a cocktail lounge and kitchen that immersed people in the authentically American era of craft cocktails and American whiskey. Through a well structured cocktail and food menu and matching interior spatial design, we wanted to embody the sophistication associated with the Whiskey drink and the reason we are able to enjoy whiskey the way we do in present times.
A mixture of lavish finishes and crafted materials brought the elevated essence of this upscale cocktail lounge. Strong marble wall fronts with dark wood finishes balance perfectly with leather and suede finishes seating. Warm lights accent intricate shelving, textured bar walls and brick finished walls. Above, a custom grid ceiling lays the ceiling out, perfectly wrapping around custom tapered drum pendant pendants. Accented with brass surface lighting and finishes, this bar radiates the same sophistication as it’s star drink.
