For this Fried Chicken concept, we looked to combine touches of modern design with the hand crafted for a modern farmhouse aesthetic. We leaned towards a muted color palette with soft fabric materiality mixed with textured hard surfaces as well as detailed touches that put the chicken, the concept’s main item, at the forefront.
Street’s existing warehouse is left raw and bare with added interior walls clad in floor to ceiling painted wood paneling. Bar is paneled in deep muted blue painted paneling and the back bar is outfitted in hand crafted mill work. Painted tin tiled ceiling is combined with mustard yellow fabric wrapped banquette seating for a modern and vintage contrast. Finally, detailed chicken image mural walls are combined with Pollack inspired art pieces to further continue the modern Farmhouse aesthetic perfect for a contemporary Fried Chicken concept.
