For this prime Deep Ellum office and showroom space, we wanted to work off of the existing brand and develop a space that clearly reflects Grand Time’s casual, contemporary and minimal essence that provides a clear backdrop for the brand identity, while programming a space that works for well for their in daily in house team. We wanted the work/play dichotomy to be prominent in the space layout and environment.
The main entrance to the retrofit warehouse Grand Time work and showroom space we looked to accentuate the main entrance staircase with turf floors and a wood faced stairs, complete with picnic table seating and repetitive rows of industrial fixtures. A custom full wall mural lines one side of the building leading up to the main open creative working space. A wood clad partition logo wall separates the main open space with an open office with contrasting stained concrete floors and patterned carpet tiles. Grand Complete with a gallery space behind, space layout and circulation becomes flexible and malleable. Clean white open structure ceilings and hints of transparent textured convert this warehouse into a creative space with the ability to change and evolve along with the creativity of it’s users.
