A refreshingly different non-profit kitchen concept deserved a refreshing interior space. For Taste Kitchen, we knew we wanted to reflect the freshness this restaurant was bringing to Fort Worth. We aimed to design a space that had charm, character and promoted a tight-knit community gathering space that the concept di already.
Raw concrete floors and exposed wood ceilings are contrasted with light subway tiled back walls and vibrant, striated green concrete tiled bar and expo counters. Wood paneled wainscot walls combined effortlessly with the exposed brick shell wall. Natural wood mill work and custom suspended ground the space, while a three-tiered terracotta pot lined shelf feature wall lines the banquette wall. Coordinating powder coated metal and natural woven light fixtures and multi-style simple furniture fill the space completing an inviting, uplifting space in line with Taste Kitchen’s inspiring and purposeful concept.
